Here are just a few testimonials from clients and previous Rebooters!
“The Wellness Reboot has expanded my capacity for creativity in the kitchen and helped me recalibrate my habits – letting go of those that no longer serve me and embracing those that energize. I look forward to continuing to be a part of a growing community of individuals ready to commit to their holistic health. ” – Leah L. (January Reboot)
“The Wellness Reboot was amazing! Love the recipes and love the workouts. The program teaches you how to shop and cook efficiently to maintain a healthy, plant-based, and tasty diet.” – Melissa Y. (January Reboot)
“WR has me trying new recipes that I would have probably skipped over in the past. It also has me faster in the kitchen. Being more efficient has led to more cooking at home, which has led to a huge decrease in our ‘eating out’ budget. I am excited over the fact that my addiction to sweets has lessened significantly – something I *never* thought would happen! I am also excited that the program has me moving again, something I have needed after several surgeries last year. I wanted to start the year with positive changes and WR has been the perfect springboard for doing so and as an added bonus, I’ve also lost weight. The only downside is I am running out of clothes to wear (being forced to give my old clothes away since they are now way too baggy!).” – Danielle B (January Reboot)
“My story began 1.5 years ago when I was tired of being sick and tired. I was on 4 prescriptions and the doctor wanted to add a 5th. I sought out the holistic practices of an acupuncturist who introduced me to juicing and then I found Christy at a yoga retreat. Christy’s food was so delicious that I attended her weekend retreat of cooking classes, which was the best decision of my life! Christy’s classes have literally been a lifesaver! I am down 50 pounds and I am no longer on medications!” – Marlene T. (cooking class student)
“Chad Byers is extremely knowledgeable and passionate about health and fitness. I have been training with him for just over a year and have lost over 50 pounds of body fat while increasing my strength each week. The workouts are always varied and he pushes me to reach all of my goals. Chad is really supportive and I leave each session feeling strong and determined!” – Tricia K. (trained by Chad Byers)
Those who choose to follow a plant-based diet consume a wide variety of fruits and vegetables, as well as grains, beans and the like. Also, there is a focus on the consumption of fresh and/or minimally processed plant foods with a decreased consumption of meat, egg and dairy products. Such lifestyles can be referred to as vegetarian, vegan, raw, macrobiotic or nutritarian.
Sort of. We like the word “reboot” because this program gives you a new start. The program is designed to help you get off addictive foods that aren’t serving your greater health and well-being, so in a way you will be cleansing and may experience a detox depending on your current diet. However, there is no deprivation on this program. You get to eat plenty of delicious foods while learning the tools needed for continued success.
A desire to work hard and succeed in reaching your health goals.
A computer with a high speed internet connection.
Adobe Reader, Acrobat, or some other kind of PDF reader.
Adobe Flash Player or some other video viewer.
You will learn how to cook plant-based meals, how to live healthy and specific exercise routines that can fit into your busy life. You will improve your health and will receive the information and support you need to continue benefiting throughout your lifetime.
Everyone will experience different things, but you can expect to see these things over time eating a plant-based diet:
* increased energy
* improved skin
* better sex drive
* prevention and reversal of disease
* improved immune system
* better and stable mood
The program is the same each month. The content, meal plans, and videos do not change each month, so unfortunately it doesn’t make sense to do the program again. However, at some point in the future, a more advanced program will be available for those who complete the Wellness Reboot.
After payment is received you will receive a Welcome Email. Five days before the start of the reboot you will receive another email with your password to the member’s only section of the website. This is where all the content and videos are housed for the program. You will have access to everything so you can go through the content at your own pace. I think it’s best to read over everything before the program start date, but you are welcome to take things slowly.
The Getting Started area of the membership area has everything you need to know about switching over to a plant-based diet….
You have lifetime access to the Wellness Reboot private Facebook group where you can ask questions and share information with others. You will get special discounts for one-on-one coaching with me and discounts for future online cooking classes.
I want to/ need to avoid nuts, soy, oil, wheat, gluten, [fill in the blank]. Will this program accomodate my specific needs?
The recipes in the 28-day program are whole food based and 100% vegan. Many of them are gluten-free and soy-free, but not all. If you are avoiding certain allergens we can switch out those recipes for others or I can make substitutions. Please feel free to contact me and we can work to make changes accordingly.
Depending on what your diet is like you may feel some detox symptoms during the first week or two of the program. This could include spaciness, poor digestion, fatigue, anxiety, skin conditions, or feeling like you have a cold. This is your body pushing out toxins and adjusting to eating whole foods. Know that this is normal and usually after 7-10 days you will start to feel awesome.
All I can say is that no matter what, stick with the program so you can really experience the benefits. Everyone that has completed the program had amazing results including weight-loss, more energy, decreased sugar cravings, no longer experiencing issues with IBS or digestion, better sleep, and more.
If you are over the age of 18 you are eligible to complete the program. It’s never too late to reboot your health! If you are under 18 years of age you must get your parents or guardian’s permission.
All the recipes are easy to follow and the cooking videos show many of the cooking techniques used in the recipes. All you need is to buy the ingredients and be able to follow the recipes’ instructions.
If you find that cooking all your meals is overwhelming or you don’t have time to cook everyday you are welcome to make extra of the recipes you like and eat leftovers. You can also batch cook many of the recipes on your day off and store them in the fridge for later eating (though I don’t suggest this with the smoothies).
I have worked hard to create this program for a specific purpose and I make sure each individual gets proper attention to benefit from the program. The program is proprietary information (see Term and Conditions) so no sharing with anyone is allowed, however we gladly accept referrals. If you know someone that would benefit from this program please share the website with them, but not any of the material in the password protected section of the website. If cost is an issue for them please email me to discuss scholarship possibilities.
If you have a history of medical problems, please consult your doctor before participating in any program that requires changes to diet and lifestyle. We are not liable for any health conditions you had before or may experience during the program.
Please consult your doctor regarding medications. I am not a doctor so I can not advise you but discuss your progress throughout the program with your doctor to see if your medication can be reduced or eliminated.
Will the program help to lower my cholesterol and cure my heart, diabetes and other health conditions?
This program is designed to “reboot” your system and help you feel healthier, as well as adapt a healthier lifestyle. There is no guarantee that it will do any of the above, however taking part in this program should improve your overall health and well-being. If you continue to eat a healthy, plant-based diet and use what you learn in the program you may in fact be able to do all of the above. It’s been known to happen!
If you are following the meal plan and not eating unhealthy foods while exercising regularly, there is a good chance you will lose weight. I highly recommend you take your measurements before and after the program. Many factors contribute to the number on the scale so do not get discouraged if your weight fluctuates during the program.
Many people lose weight even after the first week of the program.
If I feel I am not benefiting from the program will I receive a refund or will my enrollment fee be prorated?
No refunds will be given. If you sign up for one month and can’t do it, you can switch to another month if given enough time for me to fill your spot. Please see the “Refund Policy” section on the Terms and Conditions page for more information.
